Burned A lovely Dog With Acid
Indian Rescue group Animal Aid Unlimited received an urgent call that an innocent street dog had been attacked and severely burned with acid.
They discovered that the dog had suffered from 3rd-degree chemical burns that had destroyed her skin down to the muscle. She just laid on the ground basically waiting to die.
Animal Aid Unlimited, India wrote on their YouTube: “We will never know how someone could be so evil. But we did know that from this day on she would never be hurt again.”
“With almost half the skin on her back burned off we didn’t know how she could heal, but we were determined to save her. The burn needed to be thoroughly cleaned to remove remaining traces of the acid,” said Animal Aid.
It’s unfathomable how anyone could ever be so cruel to such a sweet and loving dog, but Animal Aid was determined to help this dog and give her the life she deserves.
After one month of continuous medical treatment and tender love and care, the dog who they named Honey had made amazing progress. Rescuers even started dressing the wound with honey to boost healing.
Animal Aid wrote: “It took 6 months for her wound to heal. We didn’t know if her spirit could recover. But that’s when love’s immense power stepped in.”
Today, Honey looks like a different dog. She spends her days playing with the other rescue animals at Animal Aid, and rescuers promised her she would never be mistreated again!
